Aurora BioScience signs exclusive agreement with Vascular Technologies

Aurora BioScience Pty. Ltd. today announced that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Vascular Technologies. Under the agreement Aurora Bioscience will be exclusively responsible for the sales, marketing and registration in Australia of the Vein Entry Indicator Device ("VEID^TM").

The VEID^TM was developed for peripheral venal catheter insertion with the aim of meeting the need for an advanced and accurate, low-risk, high success-rate IV insertion procedures. Based on Vascular Technologies patented proprietary technologies and backed by the company's innovative R&D division, the VEID^TM product line is currently being expanded to include devices for arterial access, for central vein access and for spinal puncture procedures.

 

Over the course of the coming weeks both organisations will work toward the products being included on the Therapeutic Goods Administration ARTG database.
