News - Aurora BioScience launches world first Transvaginal Doppler Probe

Aurora BioScience launches new Summit Doppler EchoHeart^® the first transvaginal audio Doppler probe in the world.  The EchoHeart^® Transvaginal probe further enhances the Summit Doppler range allowing the user to determine fetal viability even earlier.  While the EchoHeart^® is not intended to replace imaging equipment, it can economically provide heartbeat detection in early stages of pregnancy. In a recent study, clinicians using EchoHeart^® were able to detect fetal heartbeats in 71% of patients between 6 and 8 weeks.
